About
Me
Dr. Justin grew up right here in the Rogue Valley, spending most of his time playing sports or exploring the outdoors — whether that meant hiking, hunting, fishing, or camping with friends and family. He graduated from North Medford High School in 2017, where he played football, baseball, and wrestled, earning 11 varsity letters. During high school and college, Dr. Justin volunteered as a youth coach in wrestling and baseball, helping young athletes develop their skills and passion for the game. He was honored as First Team All-State and All-Conference catcher during his senior year — a milestone that reflected years of dedication and hard work on and off the field.
At the end of his high school career, Dr. Justin underwent Tommy John surgery, which required a long and challenging recovery. The following year, he was a medical redshirt at Treasure Valley Community College while continuing to work toward his goals both on and off the field. That experience deepened his appreciation for proper recovery, movement, and body mechanics — lessons that would later shape his approach to chiropractic care.
After Treasure Valley, Dr. Justin continued his education and baseball career at Lassen Community College in California, where he was recognized as First Team All-Conference catcher and Academic All-State for his performance both on the field and in the classroom. He graduated from Lassen with a degree in Natural Science, then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States University. Upon graduation, he became certified to perform DOT physicals, enabling him to provide comprehensive assessments for commercial drivers and other active individuals.
Dr. Justin's personal journey through sports injuries is what first introduced him to chiropractic care. After repeated injuries and countless casts with little explanation, he finally visited a chiropractor in his junior year of high school who helped him understand why his injuries were happening — and, more importantly, how to prevent them. That experience inspired him to pursue a career focused on helping others recover, move better, and stay active.Dr. Justin's focuses on helping patients not just recover, but also improve their overall movement, strength, and wellness, enabling them to live healthier, more active lives.
Now practicing at Shady Cove Chiropractic, Dr. Justin usees a combination of Diversified, Thompson Drop Table, and Activator techniques to assess and treat each person based on their unique needs, complaints, and activities. He has the privilege of helping athletes return to their sport after injuries and seniors regain mobility to stay active with their families. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue helping the community stay strong, healthy, and active in their everyday lives. Dr. Justin also plans to earn his AVCA certification in animal chiropractic to expand care for the entire household — both people and animals.
In his free time, you’ll often find him playing slow-pitch softball, coaching his nephew’s sports, or spending time outdoors. Dr. Justin recently got engaged to the love of his life, and their five-year-old Texas Heeler joins him on all their adventures. He is excited for all the journeys ahead — both personally and professionally.
